Thanks. Turns out that there was no OAB associated with any of the
stores. I guess in my deleting and recreating them the didn't get
reassociated properly.

Turn up logging to Maximum and the logs will show you the
users/contacts/etc it is having issues with. Clean those issues up and
regen the OAB. You will then be fine. Just had this issue and the
customer had 112 contacts with no X.400 addresses. Once that was
resolved the OAB regened just fine and OL users could manually download
it.

Subject: OAB Problems

We're in an Exchange 2003 SP2 environment. Shortly after upgrading to
Outlook 2007, some users started reporting synchronization errors
downloading the OAB. Following the instructions in KB 867506, I created
a new OAB with a different name. That didn't solve the problem. In fact,
no one can download the OAB now and everyone running in cached mode is
working with an old copy of the GAL. After a week, I created a new OAB
called "Default Offline Address Book" (the same name as it was
originally) but still now joy.

Manual attempts to download the OAB get an error: "Task 'Microsoft
Exchange' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object
cannot be found." or just "An error occurred while opening the
Microsoft Exchange offline address book files. See your administrator."

Any ideas how to fix my OAB?
