I could also mention than I have read Gerber's books back to Mastering Exchange 5.5 and am not his biggest fan. It seems he takes too many words to explain the technologies. Different readers connect better with different authors though. I prefer Jim McBee's style. If there was a Robichaux book for 2007, I would surely be recommending that. Multiple authors is great as long as they communicate with each other throughout the process. (I would have turned it down anyway as I don't have the experience with 07, so I'm just joshing) How come you aren't listed in the copyright? They only show one. To your point with Jim McBee - I've never been a fan of the books with only one author. There is just so much material to cover, and with the publisher deadlines it is difficult to cover it all, and cover it well for one person. This helped the Mastering book to be better than any other previous incarnation of it. While I haven't read the Mastering E2k7 book yet, I worked with Barry on the 2003 version. If he put 1/2 the effort into this version as he did the 2003, it must be good.
