Yes, definitely do this from ActiveSync on the phone. If it fails check the
event logs on the server, I have seen before where a phone's profile becomes
corrupt and the server refuses to sync to it. Removing the phone's partnership
(either from OWA or from ActiveSync on the desktop) and then recreating the
server partnership has always fixed this for me in the past. Exchange 2007 has
excellent event logs spelling out what the issue is if one exists. I found them
to be "Tim-proof". :)

No, go into the activesync icon, and hit the sync button.

I've gone into Outlook on the phone and did a Send/Receive. It said everything

Have you tried a manual sync? I find that kickstarts things sometimes.

Nope. No changes I can think of. Although, obviously something is different,
because it used to work and now it doesn't. I just don't understand why no
errors are appearing on the phone--it says it's synching just fine.

Subject: Mobile ActiveSynch Question

I've got a WM 6.1 phone that I periodically use to synch e-mail with
Exchange 2007. I don't keep e-mail synching turned on all the time--just
if I'm going to be out of the office for a while without access to my
laptop or a computer. I keep calendar synching turned on all the time,
though.

So this morning, I turn on e-mail synching before hitting the road. An
hour later, the phone still says I have no mail. I know that's not
accurate, because I can log into OWA and see new messages waiting.

ActiveSynch says everything is fine with synchronization. It says it's
connected to Exchange. No errors or anything. Just no e-mail.

Am I missing something really obvious here?
