Thank you both, I just found that too. Here is what I went with and it is
working. Since I do not care if I save the content..........

It has been a bad day here with this, but is ending on a happy note thanks to
you and Michael.

You still need the -DeleteContent switch

Is creating pst's for each user. But not deleting the messages in question. And
the pst's contain a bunch of other mail that should not be included for many
users. I am getting the calendars also. But empty pst's for many users, and
these empty ones have the subjects I need to delete.

I am running this one from my desktop. There is one CAS and to mailbox servers
if that is important.

Target it to a PST instead of a mailbox.

Exchange 2007. I am certain the account I am using has access to all the
mailboxes.

We got tagged with an ecard virus. How it got through the spam/virus filter is
under investigation. In the meantime I need to delete messages from a bunch of
mailboxes with a specific subject.

Get-Mailbox -ResultSize unlimited | ex

port-mailbox -SubjectKeywords "You have got a new E-Card from a friend!" -Target

folder ECards -TargetMailbox KennedyJim -DeleteContent

Trying to get it to copy them to a folder in my mailbox then delete them. But I
honestly don't care about the copy. But it seems to be mandatory. Here is the
error I am getting:

Export-Mailbox : The source mailbox 'Kennedy, Jim' and target mailbox 'Kennedy,

Jim' are the same, and is not supported by this command.
