I see the myth that you have to pay for Experts Exchange access is still live and kicking.
You can create a free account here: http://www.experts-exchange.com/jsp/registerExpert.jsp Create the account, save the password, no need to worry about it again. The fix on that question is this - but I haven't verified it. In outlook 2007 go to Tools> Send/receive> Download Address Book. Remove the check from "Download changes since last Send/Receive". On "information to download" select Full Details. On "Choose address book:" choose \Global Address list.
