You won't get anything until the BAS service is fully initialized. Typically
this can take over a minute in my environment. A useful way to see how far
along it's got is how much memory the bas-as.exe process is using - over 300MB
and you should be good to go.

If you still have no luck, try 1) reinstalling BAS on the same box (will need a
reboot as you have to uninstall it first) or 2) running up a BAS instance on a
second server to see if you can access it that way. If you choose (2) then I'd
stop the BAS service on your main box or you'll enter the realms of modifying
config files with TCP and UDP and blah blah <pukes> (e.g., it isn't pretty!)

Keep us informed of how you get on, I'm performing the very same upgrade next
week, albeit from BES 5.0.0 RTM.

No round robin DNS - I only have 1 BESX server.
I stopped all services, renamed the 20100203 logs folder and rebooted the
server so I could get a clean set of log files. There is no BBAS_AS log file.
BB Admin Svc (and all BB services) running.

This was 5.0 MR4 and was running fine - up until I installed either or both SP1
and/or SP1 MR1.

So no dns round robin was used during the setup?? If not, I would verify the
services and check the BAS logs for any errors....
Do you have monitoring or web desktop manager running, if so do their URLs
work???

Was this a previously 5.0 environment that was upgraded or a straight build to
SP1 and MR1???

Stefan - that URL didn't work either.

Jeff - in the 1st article, I didn't have the line in the XML file that it was
discussing. I'm not running HA, so the 2nd article didn't apply.

Login should work, there is an issue with UDP and/or TCPPing along these
lines....take a look

Hello,

I just updated our BESX 5 server with SP1 and SP1 MR1. The services all start,
but the web interfaces are not displaying - none of them. This is true when I
try https://localhost/webconsole/login or
https://host.domain.net/webconsole/login. Ideas?
