I didn't say remove the old server - I said remove the old PF store.

The prompting for user and password seems to imply that ADC/SRS weren't cleaned
out properly.

I just found one system folder left with the old server name mentioned and
thats the System Configuraton folder. (PF with System Folders

When i try and remove the old server i get prompted for a username and password.

Did you remove the replicas from the system folders as well as the user folders?

If so, try to delete the old PF store. That generally provides clues.

Subject: Exchange 2003 public folders

We have built some new Exchange 2003 server to replace our old Ex2k3 servers.
I have moved the PF so they are served from the new servers and removed the old
servers from the replication list and dismounted the PF store and all works OK.
Offline address book etc all good.

We noticed in the queues some PF traffic that was getting queued up.
This looked like replication traffic from the new to the old PFs.
After remounting the PFs on the old server the messages went.

I have trawled through the folders and removed what references I can find to
the old PF server.
The only reference I can find now , is when you right click PFs in ESM and
under General tab I can see the old PF store listed as well as the new PF store.

How do I remove this reference?

Thanks

John
