What about the Exchange User Monitor app. See if it shows a particular user running high then you can track it from there. I used that to find the person that was running one of my servers in the ground. Turned out to be their iphone.
When you say 1000's at a time is it duplicate meetings and it is just resending the invites over and over? More details may help. What is happening is, meetings are booking them 1000's of times, which is creating tons of logs, and bogging down the mail server, which is a Exchange 2007, with sp2 HF4. We do have ACT! by Sage on each computer, which access Outlook. Any suggestions on tracking this down?
