You can't get what you want with OOB tools. It'll require a little development. A couple of hours scripting, or perhaps one of the reporting tools from promodag or quest...

Ahh sorry I don't want an export of the tracking for each message from message history, just a simple "from/to/subject/date" listing for a given recipient and a given date range, literally what the message tracking centre shows you but won't let you do anything with. I've read the link and I'm being dumb but I don't get it - do I run that on the Exchange box or copy the logs off somewhere local (and safe) or what exactly?
