Subject: Policy based email creation issue

With Exchange 2010 SP1 I'm finding if I have two users with the same name the
user policy is adding a "2" or "3" to one of the email addresses even when the
aliases are completely different. I'm sure it has something doFor example
Smith, Jacqulyn (smithj) and Smith, Jacqulyn (smitj99). One is
smi...@domain.com<mailto:smi...@domain.com>, the other is
smitj...@domain.com<mailto:smitj...@domain.com>. Even though there is no
smit...@domain.com<mailto:smit...@domain.com>. Anyone encountered this, got a
work around? I hate to turn off the auto update policy for each account but if
I have to I guess I will.
