I can't bring up the EMS or EMC - same type of error (Access Denied for user
{Domain Administrator & in Organization Management groups}). I tried
uninstalling and re-installing. No help. Definitely seems to be something
with WinRM - default configuration/settings, I haven't touched it yet.
I've just finished installing the Mailbox role on the two nodes of the DAG
cluster - I get the same error when I connect to the Microsoft Exchange
On-Premises item in the EMC.

error
I must have both because we migrated from 2007. A 2010 installation seems to
have only the role groups. I haven't run into this particular error myself, so
the following items are solutions I've found for other issues with similar
errors:
1) Account lost association with Default Role Assignment Policy -
http://blogs.technet.com/b/daveh/archive/2010/01/21/sorry-access-denied-error-received-when-accessing-voice-mail-options-in-outlook-2010.aspx
(troubleshooting steps may expose if this is the case)
2) Account is not enabled for Remote Powershell using Windows Remote Management
(WinRM):
Set-User <username> -RemotePowerShellEnabled $True

Did that before sending my "I don't have..." email...

What if you perform a search on the AD domain root and search for "Exchange
Organization Administrators"?

I don't have a group called Exchange Organization Administrators.
I'm in Organization Management and Discovery Management

Did you also put yourself in the appropriate role group? For instance, I am a
member of Exchange Organization Administrators, but I am also in Organization
Management in the groups listed under the Microsoft Exchange Security Groups OU
in Active Directory Users and Computers.

I'm installing my Exchange 2010 CAS/HT/UM server - 1st one in the organization.
The roles are installed. I try to pull up the EMC, and I get the following
error (x3) in the Application Log (the Console itself is giving the
Initialization Failed...isn't assigned to any Management Role error):
(Process w3wp.exe, PID 4900) "RBAC authorization returns Access Denied for user
vaopera.net/Admin/Administrator. Reason: No role assignments associated with
the specified user were found on Domain Controller VOA-NOR-DC02.vaopera.net"
I have my Domain Admin login in every management group in Microsoft Exchange
Security Groups. I'm missing something.
Event Viewer has this error 3 times.
Also - what is the proper Binding for the Net.Tcp setting? I mistakenly
deleted that row in IIS Manager.
