It appears that the VSS file is changing or something, so that the backup is not able to verify. I believe the Backup is ok, but it would be nice to verify. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve the issue? Do I need to increase the VSS max limit?
We are using Backup Exec 12.5 I believe. Backup log contains this warning: WARNING: "\\TBCMAIL\Microsoft Information Store\Associates MBX Storage Group\Associates MBX Store" is a corrupt file. This file cannot verify. Backup completed on 1/13/2011 at 12:21:47 AM. . . . Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe000fedf - A failure occurred reading an object. Final error category: Resource Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link http://eventlookup.veritas.com/eventlookup/EventLookup.jhtml?EvtID=V-79-57344-65247 The event log contains this error: EventID 36 - The shadow copies of volume D: were aborted because the shadow copy storage could not grow due to a user imposed limit. We are using the latest Backup Exec. Volume D contains the databases. The largest is around 120 GB. Any ideas?
