The answer is: it depends. :-P In terms of how quickly that gets updated within Active Directory, that's dependent on AD replication. But generally, assume 15 minutes, unless you have slow WAN links.
So, for OWA and Outlook online, it's pretty quick. However, in terms of an OAB, those generally get updated at about 5am, and then Outlook is on a 24-hour download schedule. So...if your users are in cached mode, it can take up to two days, worst case. Regards, Michael B.
