Exchange 2003 is a long time ago for me, but you can't do this in Exchange 2007/2010 at all:
>> The accounts in the AG security group don't have mailboxes of their own but >> they have complete access to the AM mailbox And, have you waited two hours or restarted MSExchangeIS? I have a mailbox called AM that is shared by a people with their own accounts in the AG security group. (The AG security group is mail enabled.) The accounts in the AG security group don't have mailboxes of their own but they have complete access to the AM mailbox. They people with accounts in the AG security group log on with their own individual accounts but access the shared AM mailbox to send and receive mail. These individuals are unable to send mail to the F distribution list. I've added AM to the people that can send to the F list (on the Exchange General tab for the list properties). It seemed to me that should work. That didn't work so I added the AG security group. They still can't send. Finally I mail enabled the user account of one of the users that is in the AG group and added her to the users that can send to the F list. She still can't send to the list. What do I need to do to make it so the people using the AM mailbox can send to the F list? I'm using Exchange 2003. Thanks for any help you can provide.
