I haven’t tested it, but as long as Exchange CAS sees all the GCs, you should
be fine.

This cmdlet should tell you all you need to know:

get-exchangeserver –status | fl name, *domain*

Subject: GC question

Here's a quick global catalog questoin; I have 2 GC's in one site that actally
has 6 GC's. I am going to decommission these 2 DC's this week but wanted to
know if when I remove the check box on the 2 GC's will it cause any issues with
the users that are connected to them or will they just move to one of the
others? Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007 clients. Will the clients ask for a
password?

Thanks

Phil
