Yes, that's our main 2003 site/server (that is working perfectly for the 90% of
people still on it).

Essentially I had a second Admin Group with a 2003 server in it, I followed the
guide on removing the first 2003 server in a site, no issues (that I could see
in any logs), removed the server, left that admin group in place as dire things
can apparently happen if you get rid.

This 4004 seems to have come about only since I moved one of the users to 2010
that was originally in the second admin group.

Does the server "nuneaton" still exist, with a PF DB in it?

OK found it on my remaining admin group (on the TESTING one I have no servers
left). It's set to:

CN=Public Folders,CN=Folder Hierarchies,CN=Nuneaton,CN=Administrative
Groups,CN=MIRA,CN=Microsoft
Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=mira,DC=co,DC=uk

Where's the DB object in ADSI Edit? I see under the 2010 Admin Group I have a
"Databases" OU, but that's not present under the 2003 Admin Groups?

Each PF db should have an attribute named msExchOwningPFTree. What are those
values?

Not on the OU. On the DB object.

SiteFolderServer is set to our remaining 2003 server (the one the site was
consolidated onto).

I don't see the "Folder Hierarchies" on the TESTING ou, but do on my main ou
(which I guess is the issue?) but I don't see an attribute "msExchOwningPFTree"
on it.

Thanks,
Paul

This can be a little challenging.

Each admin group should have an attribute called siteFolderServer on it, which
is a multi-valued attribute. What's the value of that?

Each admin group should also have an object called Folder Hierarchies -> Public
Folders, with an attribute of type msExchangePFTreeType. What's its value?

Each PF db should have an attribute named msExchOwningPFTree. What are those
values?

Seeing this on our Exchange 2010 box:

Process Microsoft.Exchange.InfoWorker.Common.Delayed`1[System.String]: Unable
to find a public folder server for organizational unit (OU) TESTING. The
service will attempt to find a random server, which may take a longer time to
service the request.

TESTING is an admin group where we moved the mailboxes to our primary Exchange
2003 Admin Group and then removed the server but left the TESTING
Administrative Group in place (I've read that removing it is a bad idea).

The Free/Busy public folder for TESTING has the Exchange 2010 box on its
replica list, so I'm not sure why I'm seeing this or how to get rid of it?

Thanks,
Paul
