Sorry yes, 2010 SP1.  Not familiar with cmdlet extension agents - I'll do some 
digging into what they are but it sounds different from a scheduled script 
which is what I figured I'd be looking at to automate it.

No. But you can write (fairly simply) a cmdlet extension agent that will set 
the value automagically for you.

We have an app that only works with IMAP access.  I know I can run a cmdlet 
that will disable IMAP on all mailboxes, and then enable it on the mailbox that 
needs it, but is there any way of setting the default on new mailboxes so that 
it is disabled rather than enabled?
