I can tell you this: SCR replication happens over SMB and Exchange 2007 attempts to enable signing and encryption on all transmissions, including local transmissions. What no one knows off the top of their head is whether Exchange sets the "Require" vs. "Enable" bit in the request. Regards, Michael B. It has Exchange 2007 installed, but it's only used as an SCR target. In the event of a total failure of our main Exchange server, we could roll over to it as a temporary Exchange server. It's also a file server and we connect with a variety of clients. One of those clients won't support Security Signatures and the vendor wants me to disable the "RequireSecuritySignature" setting in the registry. Will this have any effect on Exchange?
