You have to do the recovery from eseutil. It's painful and poorly documented. I do not recommend the use of lagged copies.

Every error that a -mountdial or -skip addresses has been used but it never can mount it. Is it even possible? How does one play this scenario out without creating a new active db which messes up OL profiles?
