If you migration period is relatively short, consider enabling circular logging during this period. It will limit you recovery options but you will not have a “failure” due to lack of disk space.

You'll need to make sure that they aren't over either the destination mailbox database quota limits, or that they aren't over a per-mailbox quota if one is specified.
