Generally it means that the headers on the message are invalid for some reason.

Can you post them?

Subject: Poison Queue

I've got an enviromental sensor that sits on the network and sends email out
when thresholds are broken. Lately, the messages are hitting the poison queue
and not being received. Any way I can find out why they are going there? When
I hit the resume button to allow them through, I get an error "exchange cannot
connect to the exchange transport service - verify the serivce is started. All
the other messages are going through, so the transport is working. I've
created a custom receive connector using the IP address of the enviromux unit
and given it anonymous access. Any other ideas?
Thanks
Steve
