You generate a custom mAPIID: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc223849(v=prot.10).aspx You modify the Phone-Ip-Primary schema to assign that mAPIID. You edit the details template in Exchange for the object for where you want the attribute to be displayed. You do a complete rebuild on all ABs. You do a complete rebuild on all OABs.
