Have you explored whether an Exchange transport rule can accomplish this? For example, something like:
Apply rule to messages when any of the recipients in the To or Cc fields is 'sa...@here.com' redirect the message to 'sa...@here.com' I have no idea if that would work without testing it. But it may be worth looking into because there are tons of options when creating the rules.
