Hey Curt,

I would be inclined to do the following:

1. Create a distribution group with the primary SMTP address
proj...@somewhere.com (you'll have to remove this alias from his properties
first).
2. Add j...@somewhere.com to the distribution group above.
3. I'm not sure if members of distribution groups can send as by default,
but if not, you can grant that permission by following the instructions
here: http://help.outlook.com/140/ff852815.aspx
