Some packages come with a database that's regularly updated. Examples include hddtemp and lspci. How should we handle this?
One way is to split the data out into a foo-data package, and have a single 'scm' version of it that does a wget in src_unpack. That's what I've done for hddtemp, as an experiment. You can see it in ciaranm.git:5c73b0e29, which is not yet on the git repos list or CIA or anything because you all suck. Thoughts? -- Ciaran McCreesh
