Hmm, that would imply Exim is using the same htype flag for Resent- and normal headers, and that I didn't look at receive.c properly before sending my message. Some debugging proves this is true. Sorry for the false alarm! However something is causing widen_domains not to do its thing properly on my machines, so I'll have to do some more investigation...
