Exim doesn't, that I recall, provide anything to let you work from an interface name to an IP address, etc. So what's the point of being able to get a list of the system interfaces? If someone can come up with a use case and explain what would be done with it, then it seems like a firly small amount of work, as Exim already has the portable code to get a list of interfaces.
