There should be some configuration option av_scanner = avast:/var/run/avast/scan.sock:FLAGS -fullfiles:IGNORE E4056,E4711 An other option, but probably far too generic: malware = * / ignore:4056,4711 BTW, I'm not sure about the number of "errors" we need to accept, if there is some more edge case. For the password protected archive I think the best solution would be to disable that kind of error in the scanner FLAGS +accept-encrypted But that's up to avast.
