Phil Pennock <p...@exim.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED CC| |p...@exim.org --- Comment #1 from Phil Pennock <p...@exim.org> --- Most of these changes are needed, thank you. A few comments: "fulfill" is US English, the Exim manual biases strongly towards UK English, in which "fulfil" is correct. http://grammarist.com/spelling/fulfil-fulfill/ I'm dropping this change from the patch. "e.g.", "eg." and "eg" are all fine, I have no strong opinion and am happy to apply this change. "mis-configuration" was correct, but it appears that "misconfiguration" is also likely correct: <https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/7685/is-misconfigured-a-word> I'll apply this change. While "uniqueification" is not a word, its meaning is likely clear, and is not the same meaning as "unification". We're not combining, we're making distinct. This change would reverse the meaning, so I'm dropping it. If you have suggestions for better phrasing, we should take that. With the "fulfil" and "uniqueification" changes dropped, I've applied this patch and pushed it.
