Didn't mean to neglect specifying the version number.  But the bugzilla version
dropdown is not yet updated to offer "4.93" for selection.

I had hoped that the "220 localhost ESMTP Exim 4.93" in the sample output would
offer a reasonable clue.  :-)

For what it's worth, the system is GNU/Linux Slackware-current, GCC 9.2.0, GNU
libc 2.30, libspf2 1.2.10, and some salient output from "exim -bV":
