Bug ID: 2668 Summary: Feature request: Allow smtp_load_reserve to accept expansions Product: Exim Version: 4.94 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: bug Priority: medium Component: Networking Assignee: unalloca...@exim.org Reporter: bugs.exim....@dw-perspective.org.uk CC: exim-dev@exim.org I want the value of smtp_load_reserve to depend upon whether the mail is coming from a live human being in their mail client, or a remote daemon. i.e. basically whether they're incoming as an authenticated user on port 587, or unauthenticated on port 25. So, I tried this: smtp_load_reserve = ${if def:authenticated_id {15.0}{9.0}} This results in: 2020-11-03 14:05:44 Exim configuration error in line 212 of /etc/exim/exim.conf: fixed-point number expected for smtp_load_reserve >From that, I infer that smtp_load_reserve doesn't accept string expansions. Hence, I would like to suggest that feature, in order to support this use-case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. -- ## List details at https://lists.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-dev Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ##
