--- Comment #6 from David Carter <[email protected]> --- I have a debuglog, but "control = debug" in the ACL only captured the initial delivery attempt (which failed), 2021-10-09 17:25:08 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ <= [email protected] H=ppsw-50.csi.cam.ac.uk (me) [131.111.8.150]:37662 I=[131.111.8.135]:25 P=smtp S=557 for [email protected] 2021-10-09 17:25:09 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ H=mx2.mail.yahoo.co.jp [202.93.77.239]:25: Remote host closed connection in response to end of data 2021-10-09 17:25:11 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ H=mx2.mail.yahoo.co.jp [124.83.142.119]:25: Remote host closed connection in response to end of data 2021-10-09 17:25:14 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ H=mx2.mail.yahoo.co.jp [202.93.77.238]:25: Remote host closed connection in response to end of data 2021-10-09 17:25:16 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ H=mx2.mail.yahoo.co.jp [124.83.142.118]:25: Remote host closed connection in response to end of data 2021-10-09 17:25:18 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ H=mx5.mail.yahoo.co.jp [124.83.142.248]:25: Remote host closed connection in response to end of data 2021-10-09 17:25:18 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ == [email protected] R=dnslookup T=smtp_dkim defer (-18) H=mx5.mail.yahoo.co.jp [124.83.142.248]:25 I=[131.111.8.150]:53670 DT=1s: Remote host closed connection in response to end of data not the retry of the message stuck on the queue which actually delivered the message. 2021-10-09 17:25:20 +0100 Start queue run: pid=82691 2021-10-09 17:25:24 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ => [email protected] F=<[email protected]> P=<[email protected]> R=dnslookup T=smtp_dkim S=1238 H=mx5.mail.yahoo.co.jp [202.93.78.239]:25 I=[131.111.8.150]:39040 C="250 ok dirdel" QT=16s DT=3s 2021-10-09 17:25:24 +0100 1mZF9E-000LUC-rJ Completed The same is true of /opt/exim/bin/exim -d+all run from the command line. Is that good enough? If not how do I capture the debuglog for the queue runner? I have asked the user in question if they received multiple copies of my two test messages: I'm pretty sure that the yahoo.co.jp address actally belongs to our local user, which simplifies things.
