--- Comment #2 from Peter Gervai <[email protected]> --- The reason to actually open this issue now (despite that this has been the case for quite a long time) was specifically because ARC seems to have gained a bit more "traction" nowadays: Google seem to have flipped some switch in Gmail which rejects more and more forwarded mail which does not possess an ARC seal. Since they expect Envelope sender replaced (for forwarded mail) it breaks most of the DKIM signatures, and ARC would keep the validity of the original verification status. This may (or may not, they aren't very eager to tell) help deliverability issues to be fixed. Since ARC is experimental is it not inlcuded in distribution packages, and since it has been working for a while now I tried to see wheter it's possible to move out of the experimental status. (It seems to work well with RSA.) Thank you for your explanation, since it looked like, based on the lack of comments in the source, that it have been accidential. Would it be at least possible to insert some brief explanation about it has not been implemented, and waiting for volunteers please? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. -- ## subscription configuration (requires account): ## https://lists.exim.org/mailman3/postorius/lists/exim-dev.lists.exim.org/ ## unsubscribe (doesn't require an account): ## [email protected] ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://wiki.exim.org/
