I've seen this problem too and is very strange as "=" is widely used in
mailing list software and also "/" is used by some mta's (novell if i
could remember). I had to deactivate batv signatures on some addresses
because i had problems sending mails to some servers (i.e yahoo, who
seems to just blackhole them)

maybe instead of prvs=david/[EMAIL PROTECTED] the signature could
just be [EMAIL PROTECTED] (where the signature is a fixed
lenght hex string) or even [EMAIL PROTECTED], this is easy
to recognize and parse.
