This is wrong. Use of "clamd" requires the path to the running socket, or an IP address/TCP port pair. See: http://www.exim.org/exim-html-current/doc/html/spec_html/ch41.html#SECTscanvirus In a nutshell: you run the ClamAV daemon and Exim passes a stream to it.
