Hallo List,

some customers of ours were sending a newsletter
through our system with several hundred recipients.
For some reason we couldn't figure out yet this
mail-id got frozen.

The situation with this mail is that most of the
recipients could be processed correctly and received
their mail, some recipients gave temporary errors that
could be resolved at future exim-queue runs and
obviously at least one recipient provoked the freezing
of the mail-id.

My question now is what happens during subsequent
exim-queue runs? Will exim resume delivery attempts of
the delayed recipients of this mail-id even though
it's marked as "frozen" or will the mail stay
completely untouched due to its "frozen" state?

I hope someone here on this list could help me solve
this puzzle ....

Thanks in advance,

Alexander
