You'll get more appropriate/specific help on the Debian / Exim mailing list - the link is in your documentation. Which documentation also includes, I suspect, instructions on how to set up for authenticated submission from your Thundermug MUA - or any other - over TLS on port 587, not port 25. Have a look...
