Hi, when I use "exim -Mg ..." to cancel the delivery of a message from a local user I get the following error message: "<= <> R=KHO5OZ-0005ES-HQ U=Administrator P=local S=1636 == [email protected] R=local_user T=mail_spool defer (-6): mailbox /var/mail/user1 has wrong uid (1111 != 500)" After the retry delay of 15min the delivery report message will be sucessfully delivered by the queue runner. The platform is Windows Server 2003 with Cygwin. On this platform only the daemon/queue runner process has the correct permission to do local deliverys. The account which issues the "exim -Mg ..." has not. Is there a way to avoid the immediate delivery and to queue the delivery report message when using "exim -Mg ..." ? It would also be ok if the transmission of the would use the smtp daemon. I tested with "exim -odq -Mg ..." but without success (see the debug output below).
