Most likely it is DB6 and not DB5 ..
How can I tell?

Also is it possbile to usr -L/usr/local/lib -ldbX ?

First is the 4.89_RC3 to 4.89_RC and if worst comes to worst

4.88 to 4.88

then I used

4.88 to 4.88
