Hi Johnnie,
  Usual cause here is that exim is being listed as an mail exchanger in DNS
for a domain that it is not the final destination for; in such cases, it is
attempting to relay to another server, but that traffic is coming back to
itself.
  Logs should tell you the domain it is coming in for, and where it was
sent to, plus a "nslooup -q=mx" on the domain should give you the DNS
records in question.
  If the domain is correct BUT there isn't a matching local account, it is
possible an alias record could map that address to the local account
required.
