Is there a cleaner way?
I don't see one. You could play with $address_data being returned from a recipient-verify, and add the header in ACL - but that runs into issues with multi-recipient messages. You could run separate transports, with/without a transport-filters - making the decision in a router. You could teach your users to read Received: headers, and ensure the info in in the one you are adding (cf. $received_for). You could add your name to https://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3094 . -- Cheers, Jeremy PS: the IETF no longer thinks X-prefixes were a good idea. -- ## subscription configuration (requires account): ## https://lists.exim.org/mailman3/postorius/lists/exim-users.lists.exim.org/ ## unsubscribe (doesn't require an account): ## [email protected] ## Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## Please use the Wiki with this list - http://wiki.exim.org/
