Ciao Bill, this are my toughts on Moscow: - PROS: excellent business opportunities and fast career - CONS: 8 months winter, huge city, stressfull and caotic (consider that in Italy I live in a village, close to lakes and mountains), and I generally don't like people mindset - it's generally difficult to socialize with russian, apart from the western minded!
Therefore, I summarize with a wise sentence by a colleague of mine, from Ireland, who stayed here for 1.5 years: "The first 6 months are a great experience, the next 6 months are OK; then, if you stay longer, this is mostly for money..." Then it depends very much what you like; but if you sign a contract, I would ensure to have a return ticket....
