Nothing bad to say about Aeroflot... However, they sell just to main destinations in Europe and there are certain restrictions, also tickets do go very fast on popular destinations like London, Paris or Berlin. You have to return to Moscow by 15 Dec.
For Moscow - London, booking in advance to fly from Domodedovo by British Midland would have cost you just 2,000 rubles more (try www.ticketonline.ru). And considering that there is no express train to Sheremetievo from where Aeroflot flies, that difference does not look very significant.
