I'm from the States and have been living here in Moscow for almost two years.?
I'm seeking the latest info that anyone has regarding the new visa regulations,
e.g. do I really have to go back to the States to get a new one-year,
multiple-entry "rabochny" visa.? I understand that I can only get a new Russian
visa in the U.S. or?in a country that normally permits Americans to stay freely
over 90 days.? I read in one or two of these Expat e-mails that Americans were
able to get new visas in Great Britain and Turkey (?) but later I heard that
going to Great Britain for a visa only "worked" through the end of November and
to do it now would be risky.?I love the States but due to economic and other
factors hadn't planned to return there until 2009.? What are you folks out
there hearing and experiencing in regard to this?? Thanks...
N. A. Kwandree =)
