Welcome to the land of 'easy come easy go'. In answer to your question, just think about who/what is paying for these crazy real estate prices, luxury auto's, & 25yr old so called 'investment bankers' pulling in $25k month??? Add to that the corruption & sheer inefficiency at every turn, & the lack of any competitive home grown products, & I think that goes a long way towards explaining why prices here are spiraling out of control. So long as the rest of the world is prepared to put up with $100 a barrel, the absurdity that you now see around you will continue. In my opinion what this places needs right now is a good old recession or crisis. In the meantime make hay whilst the sun shines.
