They used to have the monopoly. So do realize that you're possibly going to pay a huge margin. Perhaps the best thing to do is to approach the Expat List with, "Dear all: Who here can pick me up an iWhatever in the US? Dinner and beers on me." I just had an iPhone 16GB flown in from the store on Fifth Avenue, NYC, and I still saved a couple hundred bucks. (Thanks, pals...)
