Dear all expats, and people who tolerate them... :) The Last Stoppers Club is meeting this Saturday, August 30!
What's that? It's an informal gathering of expats and friendly locals, who like to have fun and explore new places. A lot of you are bored of the same old hangouts in the city center, and want to see a bit more of the "real" Moscow. On the last Saturday of each month, the LSC gathers at a Radial metro station on the Ring Line, then we take the Metro to the last stop on the line. When we get there, we find some local place to hang out, eat, drink, and be merry! It's a cool way to relax, create some happy times, and get to see a bit of the "real" Moscow. The crowd can be quite mixed, from backpackers to CEOs, of various nationalities, with a wide age range. Some come to network with other expats, others to dance with the tipsy locals. *Here are the details, copied from "Lenin's" mail:* So this Saturday, Aug. 30th, we travel down to Vikhino at the bottom of the Purple Line and find a bar or beer garden to relax in. There are bound to be some good times in store for us! Grab your friends and foes alike and meet us in the *center of M. Taganskaya * (*Radial *Line; Purple Line).
