Yes, BBK is a good player. It is a Russian company (although my player is made
in China). I was told that if you buy a Sony, Panasonic, or some other well
known Int'l brand that they may not play DVD's of the "Garbushka" variety i.e
most of those sold in Russia.> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Expat Digest,

have done, as well as others, simply get a translated/notarized copy of your

couple times this was questioned by the officer where a strong argument
dismissed the question. Example: Do you really think I would risk and drive
without valid permission? Or, I've checked this out thourghly, so if you intend
to question the validity, be my guest. But before you do, ask yourself the
question, if a Russian citizen is allowed to use his or her Russian driver's
license in Europe or the US, why wouldn't we allowed the same courtesy of

Master, I must side in with Mr. Lebedeff. Why? Simply because a Mac is not
that all compatible with the host of programs I run, and moreover, for today's
high-powered games, a Mac is a "no can do". > > This is an old war, this Mac
vs, PC thing. For those that like Macs, I say "ok, go for it". But if I'm

However, we now come to the problem Mr. Rees had. An unfortunate one, to be
sure, because he was ill advised, and to make matters worse, he was not helped
by customer support. Anyone selling a customer a computer like they sold him
is asking for trouble. I lived in Russia for 3 years. I am not surprised,
although these things do happen elsewhere too.> > Microsoft has stated that it
will stop support for XP in 2010 (Mr. Lebedeff can please confirm). I am an
old supporter of XP, but considering that Vista marks the new OS platform, it
behooves us to get to know it better and better as time goes by, or, wait for
Windows Seven (Vienna), slated to appear in 2010. Last year I remember how
much I hated Vista. But today, now that I know it so well, I have learned to
tweak its internals, so it works just fine, and is not as bad as some say.
Sure, it suffers from some problems with newer computers, because of the
absence of drivers (here again I side in with Mr. Lebedeff because I too think
this OS is still in "development" stage), but that is where those that build
and sell must configure their systems properly, and maybe even offer some
training where it is needed.> > Or, simply install XP, regardless. Hey,
anything is better than this nightmare! For the record, I dislike Asus
systems. I never recommend one to anyone who asks.> > Kindly,> > Larry Urban>

Sure, it'll work for lower-end games (e.g. Solitaire), but for upper-end games
(e.g. Bioshock or Crysis)? Not really. The Mac's emulator and hardware
simply won't cut the mustard.> > However, to use the example, if you can get
