try getting a 3 month, dual entry business visa to tide you over until all's sorted. I applied for a new/extended work permit for another year already in July. I have received various emails confirming that the work permit will be issued at varying dates. Unfortunately, so far I have not received it. They kept promising that I will have it by 27 Oct. Yesterday I received a note, that the work permit has been ready for 10 days but cannot be send to me as the internal process doesn't allow sending any permits currently. The new proposed date was 1 Nov. Even if I receive the work permit then, I still need to apply for a new work visa which will take 16 working days according to the officials.This means, both my work permit and work visa have run out, and theoretically I would have to leave the country. Does anyone of an option to extend the existing work permit/visa as long the application for the new ones are still undecided by the authorities?Do I really have to leave the country?
