We have a strong base of high quality members and are the only association of its kind that unites in-house lawyers for professional networking and development. We are embarking on a period of ambitious growth and are committed to making major investments to take our organization to the next level. We are now looking to hire a professional Marketing Manager or Director in order to lead and manage this growth. Your challenge - Since our founding in 2003 we have grown to 300 individual members. But we have reached a plateau and now need to invest in further staff and technology. Our strategic planning process identified numerous opportunities to double our membership and triple our budget by the end of 2009, which will also allow us to begin expanding our organization nationwide. Your role - This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the right person because it is a hands-on role where you manage a real business on a day-to-day basis. This position offers a daunting but realistic challenge. It requires you to work completely independently with minimal supervision. But most importantly of all, your actions will directly affect the success and future growth of our association. You start with two desks, an assistant, basic office equipment and a limited budget. Your place of work will be in the offices of RUSNANO, a few steps from the office of the Deputy Director General and current President of RCCA. You will have a strategy, a plan and plenty of advisors, and you will be expected to grow yourself and a team into a new office. Your responsibilities - You need to upgrade our current data and communication capabilities; set up and run membership recruitment and sponsorship programs; research members to then organize, promote and run regular events; work with agencies, media partners and similar organizations; ensure our committees function; and essentially implement our strategy and expansion plans. Your boss - You will report to and have daily contact with the current President of RCCA which is Alexandra Nesterenko, but ultimately answer to the RCCA board which consists of five people who meet regularly. Alexandra is a very dynamic person who is well known and respected in the legal community. She is also passionate about developing the RCCA and the legal profession in Russia. Your skills - We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and Russian and understands marketing professional services and information products in a modern Western way. You must be passionate about our organization like it is your family. Entrepreneurial spirit, a service mentality, technologically savvy and experience in or appreciation of the legal industry will be valuable assets. Your career path - For junior candidates with ambition, you will start as Marketing Manager and can become Marketing Director in 1-2 years depending on your performance. If you become a Marketing Director, or are a more experienced candidate and are hired as one, you can become an Executive Director in 1-2 years depending on your performance.
